Merit Contractors Association Inc. is the only open shop association in Saskatchewan. The Association focuses on the human resource needs of contractors with a special emphasis on benefit plans, training, retirement programs, tuition refund programs and placement of field construction workers.

Merit Contractors Association, Saskatchewan is all about freedom of choice and democracy in the workplace.

We believe employers and employees should be able to communicate any time, any where and that employees have the right to hear all the facts before an important decision is made.

We believe that when negotiating contracts a company should be able to negotiate the terms of their contract individually so the contract is equitable for both the employees and their employer.

We believe that employees and their companies should have a timely hearing at the Saskatchewan Labour Board, should that need arise.
